Founded by culinary visionaries with roots in some of Melbourne’s most respected dining institutions, (including the teams behind Wagyu Ya and Niku Ou) Yakikami was born from a desire to showcase the very best of Japanese cuisine on Australian soil. Recognising a gap in the dining landscape, our founders asked a simple question: What would the ultimate Japanese grill experience look like outside of Japan itself? Yakikami is the answer.
